Trecsa is one of the Bogotá Energy Companies, with over 100 years experience in the electricity sector. Guatemala is currently implementing the Plan de Expansión de Transmisión, in which TRECSA was the chosen company to execute  845 km of transmission lines with 12 new substations extending over the country.

The Trecsa project responds to the need of settling a new office space with the new company's requirements in operational and human resources growth.

The new corporate offices incude 92 job stations between operational headquarters, reception, control center, and meeting tables.

The company's requirements were clear: generate a nice modern workspace, using the latest technology and staying true to the commitment of respecting the environment. We created a series of innovative offices, with open spaces and excellent lighting. It was important to consider maximizing the use of natural light.

A key element is maintaining a comfortable temperature for colleagues to work in. Therefore the false ceiling was removed, increasing air circulation. Keeping up to date with technology, LED lights were implemented as well as motion sensors which significantly reduces energy consumption; the meeting rooms are automated in terms of shields, blinds, illumination and temperature. They have all the technology and services available with hidden electrical connections. In every area has WIFI access for staff and visitors.

Trecsa is part of the Global Pact in which companies are committed to separate waste, promoting recycling awareness, educating people making a commitment to the environment.
