Responding to Tigo brand new vision to create a cutting edge sales room that represented their leadership in mobile telecommunication and was also the emblematic store for the brand.
The proposal was to divide the project into two large areas, the first floor for public commercial use and the second for workstations and meetings with clients. The selected architectural design has a fusion of organic forms on the ceilings with the cleanness of an ample space in which it is possible to tend to multiple clients simultaneously.
Even though the clients guidelines were to incorporate the entire pallet of colors used in the graphic image (red, yellow, green, and blue) to the interior architecture, the firm proposed the predominant use of white and only accentuating some walls with color; this with the goal of highlighting the printed and digital publicity transmitted in the interior.
The organic shapes that identify this brandâs logo were subtly incorporated in the walls and glass elements, the tempered glass offices were also designed with a curved base and the compressed wood white ceiling was proposed as serial suspended wave-shaped planes to add dynamism to the open space.
All of the furniture for customer service was custom designed by the architects, because the store had to have original and own ideas that differentiated it from the competition. The displays were made of white Corian to create an element that looked like it was made from one piece but integrated into the concave shapes on the ceilings.
For the administrative area, a wider selection of colors was chosen, but the suspended ceilings organic line on the first floor was maintained, providing a total integration to this commercial project.
