Built on a metallic structure and elevated to over three feet high, this attractive model apartment was designed to replicate in its entirety a Type B apartment of Condado La Villa building.
It was all executed respecting the building's blueprint, but adapted to an independent module that would serve as a Model Apartment, so that the clients could visualize living in a1,087 square feet apartment.
The project's developers were incredibly audacious to obtain a place with such high vehicular traffic, so they could exploit all of the apartment's marketing potential.
The visual interpretation of Studio Domus as to how to design and decorate this space was taken to a contemporary vision; that reflected the lifestyle of the people that want to live in buildings. This style was represented through the placement of functional elements and simple architectural forms; made in tones of warm ochre and contrasted by cold gray.
The interior is warm and comfortable, but also expressive and daring. Even though it is a very compact dwelling, the spaces are perceived with amplitude thanks to the size of the windows and glass balconies. The entire ceiling is a large mass of concrete with no interruptions such as lintels above the doors, avoiding the use of the heavy moldings; giving the sensation of more height.
The decoration reflects the community's personality that particularly likes to live in apartments and that in the most cases are professionals and jovial people.
