The project, which formerly housed the corporate offices of a television channel, was transformed into a space for private offices from which various family businesses are managed.
The previous tenant was also our client (FOX International Channels) needing to move into a larger space, which led to an opportunity Administración Central to move in. We were requested to design a space that would adapt to the needs of today's customers. This project took an almost opposite layout to the previous one, however under the premises of an efficient and sustainable design certain elements that could still be used in the new project such as laminate flooring in some areas and the aluminum pergola were kept.
The personality of this new office was conservative, with a sober design that includes certain modern elements. Thus, certain design solutions define the identity of the space: the combination of wood with glass, a Corian kitchen cabinet , aluminum ceilings and Herman Miller design furniture combined with other subtle elements create a cozy, elegant and very modern atmosphere.
The design of the office is not an open plan, as most of the projects Studio Domus designs, however we tried to integrate a lot of transparency with glass solutions.
The client wanted to give the feeling of comfort as you walked through the offices, so double padding carpet was incorporated to make it softer. In order to create a common space for informal gatherings, it was decided to create a relaxing coffee point with a modern twist with a furniture design that breaks the monotony. It is an open, lighted space.
It should be mentioned that the success of this project had a lot to do with the fact that the client was open to suggestions as we tried to reflect the company’s personality on every corner.
